Scrap Store

I discovered this amazing store called "Scrap" today. It's essential the living definition of the quote: "One man's trash is another man's treasure.".

Quoting the site the place is:

There were crayons, pens, unused notebook paper, paint, fabrics, for sale by the handfuls. It was every eco-friendly, artist's dream come true. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you, Portland for letting such a place exist.

Kickstarter and Newest A.B. TV Update

Firstly, to those of you asking about the newest video for A.B. TV; I am sincerely sorry for the tardiness of the posting.Cody and I are working on a slightly new angle which involves more edits and dedication that Cody's part. I trust after we get this one up; newer features won't be as difficult.

Otherly; two weeks from today until my Kickstarter campaign ends. I've received $235 in donations thus far. I need $965 to cover printing of the book, bookmarks, shipping, and all kinds of other stuff all listed on the page.

Weekend Ambitions!

What am I doing this weekend you ask?

  • Reading!

I have a lot of reading I've wanted to do this past week, but I've worked long days and get off work and my apartment is super warm and I end up ambitious-less.

No excuses: need to read more news articles, and some history and science stuff that has been begging for my reading.

  • Buying Honey!

Local Honey! Why? Because my sinuses are super out of whack and that just seems like the right thing to do. And how cool does it sound to buy honey that was made in your own neighborhood? For real though... Awesome! (Bee Local)

  • Hiking to Pittock Mansion!

It's been a while since I've been to the Northwest side of town and the view from the top of the hill is absolutely amazing.

  • Tackling The Beatles Discography!

Dudes and Dudettes! I think I'm finally ready. I've made some major progress in the last two years in catching up on the music I was sheltered from growing up. Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, and many many more but I'm not awake enough to recall them all at this moment. But.... The Beatles discography has seemed very intimidating. But as of about 20 minutes ago it's begun. Starting with the first album and going in chronological order. Let the magic begin.

Too Hot

When I'm too warm; I have no ambition. Which a major reason for leaving Florida.

Currently the outside temperature is perfect to me, but this apartment has no AC and the the circulation of outside air is mediocre at best.

I don't like this one bit. I need a fan of some sort.

There are far too many books and news articles to read, but this warm apartment has disabled all such longings. I just want to fall asleep and wake up in need of a blanket.

A.B. TV Update

Wrapped up filming this week's episode of A.B. TV this evening at Mt. Tabor with my new friend Martha.

New episode will be up tomorrow at 5pm. This will be the best episode to date. Promise you that. Thank you Cody for your hard work as always.

New Father John Misty Video

The first track from Fear Fun, and the hopefully the final video from this album.

Very solemn tone after the his first few videos; but lyrically it makes sense with the video. And taking into consideration he's been touring relentlessly since Fear Fun's release this would make a perfect final single for this album.

I hope he gets some time to rest and hopefully write new tunes. Stay awesome Father John Misty.

Game of Thrones and Morning Coffee

I'm drinking my morning coffee before work and can't think quit thinking about last night's Game of Thrones! Holy Sadness!

They were slaughtered. It wasn't even quick; it was slow and humiliating. I really liked Robb, too.

An entire quarter of the show's plot was killed off. The idea of undying goodness will prevail somehow in the end is dead. The show is intense. The only positive is maybe more air time for Daenerys.

The show is getting more and more magical and I love it. I really should invest in reading the books, but at this point in time I don't have that kind of attention span.
