Independence Day

Happy Independence Day! As recent as 237 years ago a group of Americans stood up to the powers that be because they believed in a better life; just like the Egyptians are doing now.

Bring on the violence! Bring on the beer! I predict the next 50-100 years will be a memorable one for not just this country, but all of humanity.

It's NEVER too late for drastic change, America. No empire lasts forever. Let's take it to the streets!

Smoggie Catt Is Missing

Smoggie Catt has run off and I've stayed calm for a while, but now I'm starting to freak out.

Sleep

Yes I only slept for about an hour. Yes my apartment is uncomfortably warm. Yes I opted to sleep outside. Yes it was a great decision that I probably should have made hours earlier.

And Other Things And Thoughts

• I don't deal with heat. it makes me rather unproductive. 
• I don't move into my new apartment until Wednesday now.
• I like opening again; even if that means getting up super early
• There's something great about being up, seeing the city before it's awake
• I'm excited to have a space where Smoggie Catt can wander outside  
• Time to wander to the grocery store to buy a box of pasta
• This my legacy. All I own fits in one corner of my room at 26 years of age; that's kind of cool I guess. 

Holy Heat!

It's way hotter than I expected this apartment could get.

True it sucks, but I feel very fortunate to not be in the Southwestern United States right now. That's some fucking intense heat. 

Someone should bring me Smoggie Catt and I a cold brew or two! 

Yesterday's Adventure

Yesterday I went to Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge. I have many pictures and even more feels that I cannot put into words at this moment.

Thank you, Danil for getting me out of bed. I really needed that adventure. 

I am currently trying to decide which pictures best describe the place without posting 20 pictures.  

I  met some really rad people and experienced genuine, rugged adventure. Alas it is far too beautiful outside to waste time in front of a computer so I will post more pictures later.

Today

Today I escaped the sprawl and it was good. Thank you Danil.

Day Off Adventure

I'm not awake enough to say more.

Danil just said waterfalls, swimming, and hot outside today. 

Going to drink my coffee, eat my noodles, and see what happens.

Aliens and UFO's

Of course aliens are real. Of course you haven't seen any legitimate proof.

You think the government is smart enough to intercept calls but not smart enough to intercept data of other planet beings before they reach the public eye?

Free Boxes

There are always treasures waiting to be found when you're walking around Portland.

Sometimes you find berries waiting to be picked and sometimes it's a "free box" of stuff.

In today's Free Box I found a bag of coloring pencils! Hurray for art!

4 years ago today Michael Jackson died. He may not have been a saint, but he wasn't a monster; he was and will always be my hero. He had genuine soul and passion for the stage.

RIP my friend. I hope in another life we are giant Redwood Trees in an enchanted forest.
