yesterday i walked through a thunderstorm up Mississippi Avenue.
complete with hail!
i heard more thunder yesterday than i have heard in the entirety of my almost 4 years in Portland.
also i celebrated the birthday of one of my favorite peoples, Alan Page.
i'm getting a new phone in a few days or so.
i'm finally going to get a 503 number.
feels a little weird, i've had the good ole 352 number my entire adult life.
anyway...
life has been interesting lately.
life is alright sometimes.
i'm very thankful for my smoggie catt friend.
she's my constant.
the last of the primaries for the democratic party are coming up.
i'm curious to know how all that works out.
and what other absurdness donald trump will come up with. no bueno.
also what happens to the rest of our republicans friends.
has anyone else noticed the weather people have no idea what is happening.
i mean even the really smart ones (noaa for example. i find them interesting.) know a lot.
but they are giving 75% chances at things happening.
get involved. pay attention. localize and harvest.
i'm going to quit rambling and go sit outside and draw.
it rained a lot these past few days. all the trees and flowers smell delicious.

A.B. and Corduroy
There's a full moon on Saturday.
Has anyone read up on the fires in Alberta, Canada?
One quote I read said it's consumed as much as the land size of Hong Kong.
Otherly BLM wants to cut more forest down in Oregon. I don't like that.
Those against these actions say we need those forest to battle against the effects of climate change.
There's a full moon on Saturday.
I'm going to quit rambling and wander before this storm settles in.

my friend, Cass, was part of a Bernie Sanders themed art show last night.
Below art pics of the prints, contact her on Instagram if you're interested in one.
i contributed some word for the second print. it felt good to write out my feels about the current politics so thoroughly.
I encourage you to read it, if you wonder why I support Bernie Sanders more than any other candidate.
Oregon and Kentucky primaries are tomorrow.
Keep your hopes up, friends.
Bernie Sanders in no way can solve all our crazy problems on his own, but he has the servitude to start trying.
Combine that with people rallying together and we can do whatever we want.

hi friends.
i wrote a post a moment or so ago about how Tim had helped me fix my laptop and how i was trying to focus on regular posts on this rambling blog.
since then my laptop has crashed again and my main source of interweb is an iPod.
i have a lot i want to ramble about.
i have a short attention span.
i end up drawing it out more often.
well today i sat down and cataloged some of my favorite prints and added them to my site's interweb store.
they are a fraction of the prints that i debuted at my first art showing at Vivace last year.
the response from that event was greater than i had imagined it'd be so now i'm officially making these pieces available on the interwebs because everyone should have a friend alfred or two.
i've misplaced my coffee.
i'm going to get off the interweb and go find that.
be free fellow earthlings!

washed up to my knees in [parentheses]
exclamations!
no question about it
oh wait...
did you say coma, comma, or come over?
hello fellow earthlings.
my name is a.b. corduroy.
I want to talk to you not as a american, but as an earthling.
it is election year in the "united states of america".
the american empire is crumbling
what happens next is up to us
i urge you to not live in fear.
I do not believe Trump or his supporters... (as a whole) are racist.
Individually you can make your cases.
As a whole Trump and his supporters are nationalist.
I'm not saying that makes them right.
Nationality has become the racism of the 21st Century. There is a clear distinction in the two.
While I believe the passion felt by some of the Trump folks is genuine, These folks believe there are rules to follow that make America what it should be. They care about their country and their families and they have been severely distracted.
While you may have been told for years immigration/illegals are causing you problems it is not.
Land is not owned by man.
Nor is water.
we may harvest it in bits, Mother Nature is greater than any cloth flag or paper document.
If Uncle Sam wanted to clean up the land, he very easily could have.
You don't think they do all that spying and don't know how to root out illegals, do you? do you?
It's a distraction for whatever other agenda the Republican establishment has had.
Tax breaks for the richest of rich, war, etc..
I very much appreciate my geographic location on earth but realize empires rise and fall.
There are thousands upon thousands of people without homes because the US and others have destroyed Syria and neighboring lands.
even in the United States millions living poorer than I can ever fathom and I'm not well off. I struggle to pay my responsibles frequently.
On top of that climate change is and will continue to send people migrating to new lands as their former homes are destroyed or left without resources.
I have drove many many miles across the United States. There is land to spare.
if we don't share and care for what we have, be that the United States, Europe, Antarctica, wherever they will crumble just as the American empire, British Empire, the Roman Empire, etc.
To my fellow earthlings who believe Trump will get us back on track, I urge you to think bigger.
i know you work hard and you are frustrated but we can do it without fear.
United we stand, divided we fall.
i'm loosing my attention span.
be free fellow earthlings,

hello my name is A.B. Corduroy.
this is a public announcement that I'm looking for new job opportunities.
why on blog? because i want to do need a new ideas. bigger than my head is imagining.
i enjoy meeting new people and being of service to them.
i have worked on cow dairies, chicken houses, been a server, and been a barista for the last 10 years plus.
i would like to continue coffee part time if the vibe is right. i've put in resumes at some interesting little shops the past few days.
while working service industry has been / is my most sincere way of diligently sharing that, i am open to greater ways to be of use to my fellow earthlings and planet.
my priority in life is to progressively make art, words, and music my main source of income and that is only possible if I continue to pursue new avenues to grow and learn.
if you are reading these words and can use any kind of temporary part time work, art or labor please email me at: abcorduroy@gmail.com
Sincerely

the most important thing i want to share is the song at the bottom of all these words.
the song is called "wander". tim craft and i have been working on it for a few moments or so now.
we'll be playing the following song and a few others on thursday at the kenton club in nopo.
also, i found a sweet pair of black skinny jeans in a free box and last saturday i found a pleather jacket with a hood.
yay for good luck magic finds!
other things:
-all the flowers are blooming and the trees are fully greening.
-new shade canopies compensate well for the excessive heating.
-i don't like the sun that much. i prefer rain.
-i drank beer from a big glass boot last night.
-3 boots actually. they were 2 liters each.
-with my friends: jackie, eric, rachel, and alex.
attention span drifting.
so listen to this song and if you live near to me, i hope to see you at the show on thursday.

my flatmate/bandmate/friend tim craft helped me fix my laptop.
had to totally wipe it, but i can totally type this blog without the dreaded mac rainbow wheel every 3 seconds.
thank you, tim.
also tim and i switched bedrooms. it's made it like moving into a whole new apartment.
my new room is much smaller. it's cozy. i feel like i'm in a tree house.
there's a lot of magic swelling in the air lately.
smoggy catt really likes the new room. she even hangs out on the bed box with me again.
there's a full moon on the 23rd, an eclipse too, oh and it's a super moon. aaah, i hope the skies are clear that night.
the rain has been lovely. a few days of sun in between. it makes the rainy days smell even better.
so many flowers in bloom.
i love all the colors on the grey days.
more ramblings soonly.
be free and long live liberty.

i went to listen to Bernie Sanders speak in Vancouver, Washington today.

i only recorded a little bit because i wanted to stay in the moment.
